Josephine Catherine (Kierulf) Vivian of Richmond Australia was born in 1859 in South Yarra, VIC to John Palmer Kierulf and Catherine Steel (Braid) Kierulf. She had siblings John Palmer Kierulf, William Melbourn Kierulf, Oscar Sydney Kierulf, Frederica Victoria (Kierulf) Birrell, Delores Matilda (Kierulf) Prender, and Adelaide Agnes (Kierulf) Stacey. She married Frederick James Vivian in 1878, and had children Reginald Arthur Vivian, Elsie Josephine Vivian, Leslie George Vivian, and Blanche Frederick Vivian. Josephine Vivian died at age 76 years old on December 7, 1936 in Malvern, Victoria.
