She had children Linda Marie (Gelley) Durst, Bruce Howard Gelley, and Peggy Ann Gelley. Josephine Gelley died at age 75 years old on May 16, 1996 at San Diego Arnott Street, in San Diego, San Diego County, California United States, and was buried on May 18, 1996 in San Diego.

  • Introduction

    This lady was a wonderful person. She had a good life until she married Frank Gelley. Josephine was born December 4th 1920. Josephine grew up on a farm in Oakland Maryland. She had 5 sisters with Maxine as her favorite. Maxine and Josephine were in the Marines together during WW 2. Josephine and Max were best friends till Josephine passed away.

    Josephine, my mother, was a bowler and loved bowling more than anything else. She loved her grandchildren and was the sweetest lady. I miss her so often and wish anything we had lived closer. Linda

    Josephine and Frank were parents to Linda, Bruce, Peggy, and Larry Gelley (who only lived for three days).

Brother of Linda Durst was Bruce Howard Gelley. He was born February 3, 1949 and passed away May 31st 2014. Bruce had Cerebral Palsy and was mentally r*******. He was very close to his sister, Linda and she loved and cared for him until the day he passed away.
