VOORHEES, N.J - On Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2008, Josephine Watkins was called home to be with our Lord and Savior. Josephine was the daughter of the late Jessie Burt Judkins and George Judkins. Josephine retired from Ancora Psychiatric Hospital in New Jersey where she was a loyal employee for over 35 years. She was preceded in death by her brother, Pernell D. Stringfield Sr. She leaves behind five children, Steve Judkins, Felicia Jones Harris (Dwitt), James Bailey Jr., Jamie B. Wilson Grant (Joseph) and Joelle Bailey; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two nieces, Diane Rollins (Antonio) and Jeanette Davis (Larry); a nephew, Pernell D. Stringfield Jr.; one uncle, James Judkins (Pearl); and a host of family and friends. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 19, at the funeral home. The Watkins family is receiving services of comfort at Nickelson-Cummings Funeral Home, 4304 Victoria Blvd., Hampton.ADVERTISEMENT BYLooking for more information?
