  • Introduction

Josephine Oktabec is my great aunt. She is my grandmother, Helen Oktabec Linderman's sister. I was young when Aunt Jo, that is what we called her, passed away from breast cancer. She loved to crochet or knitt. She also either volunteered or worked at the university in Missoula. She spoke Czech fluently,as her mom and dad came from Czech. She attended college in Dillon Montana.
