Young Joy Styers (Burton) and her brother Thomas Roy Styers, children of Thomas Jefferson and Mary Ellen Crews Styers of Guilford Co. NC. (Gethsemane Community). Thomas & Mary Ellen were natives of Forsyth Co., but came to Guilford Co. not long after their marriage. This was their two youngest children.
