Jule, age 22, told the 1940 Federal census that he had completed the sixth grade.

His funeral was held at St. Peter Catholic Church and he was buried in the church cemetery.

When he was age 22, Jule told the 1940 Federal census that he was a laborer on a farm. Later, he was also employed by Algoma Plywood for 23 years.
Personal Life & Family

Jule A Cravillion was born to Joseph Cravillion (1884 - 1964) and Constance Challe (1883 - 1968) on July 18th, 1917 in Wisconsin and he had two brothers: Edward (1908 - 1959) and Adrain (1910 - 1989). He also had half-siblings Edwin, Harvey, Joseph, Lorraine, and Orville Charlier. Note: Although Social Security records indicate that Jule was born on January 18th, 1917, his World War II draft card, his headstone, and his obituary say that his birthdate was July 18th, 1917. Jule Cravillion married Adeline Vandermause (1915 - 2012) on August 4th, 1937 and they had four children: sons Bernard (1937 - 2015), Norbert (1939 - 1021), and Richard (1946 - 2016); and daughter, Patricia (1951 - 1958). On his November, 1940 World War II draft card, Jule described himself as being five feet ten inches tall and as weighing 153 pounds. He had blue eyes, brown hair, and a "light" complexion. He also had a scar from an operation on his appendix.
