Julia Armentine (Pratte) Dickerson-Gilpin 1836 - 1912

Julia Armentine (Pratte) Gilpin was born on March 6, 1836 in Missouri United States to Bernard Abbadie Pratte, Jr. and Marie Louise (Chenier) Pratte, and had siblings Marie Louise (Pratte) Taylor, Louise Pratte, Sylvestre Louis Pratte, Laura Emilie Pratte, and Lina (Pratte) Robinson. She married William Gilpin, Sr., and they had children Marie Louise (Gilpin) Dodson, William "Willie" Gilpin, Jr., and Louis Vidal "Bogy" Gilpin. She would also marry Colonel John H. Dickerson, and they had children Sidney J. Dickerson, Julie Dickerson, Elizabeth Dickerson, and Louise T. (Dickerson) Sherwin. Julia Gilpin died at age 76 years old on December 21, 1912 in Denver, Denver County, CO.
