    He was always the best grandfather that any kid would love to have. He was always there for me when i needed him. If i needed money, a ride, or whatever he was most likely to be the one i called first. If It wasn't for him and my grandmother I wouldn't know Spanish today. Hed refused to let me forget my first language so he'd say. He could never understand how us Mexican Americans couldn't speak Spanish if we come from a Mexican background. My grandfather taught me how to drive at the age of 12. After his accident in San Jose when they restricted his license so instead of him getting caught driving he'd rather have me lol I'd go selling ice cream in his truck even though I'd cry and throw the biggest fit but later on I'd be okay looking at all the farm animals out in the country. Singing along with my grandpa and getting paid $10 and eating anything you wanted throughout the day wasn't so bad after all! Driving from LA on a rainy stormy night. Miss him a lot!
