  • Introduction

    Julio C. Flaz born April 12, 1981 was a son, brother, cousin, nephew and friend. He was a very good young adult, basketball player who had many future dreams which were not fulfilled due to his illness. He started studying for Civil Engineering and during his 3 year of his career he was diagnosed with brain cancer. He had his entire life ahead of him but his life ended too soon in September 17, 2003. He did leave us the many good memories and times we spent together in our hearts and minds. We all miss him dearly and will never forgive him.

Most thought that Johnson would die within a year or so. Also, the transmission of AIDS wasn't understood so he had to retire from basketball. Magic Johnson is still alive and well.
