Sergeant McKenzie was the top NCO in the Public Information Office at Fort Riley, Kansas, for the two years I was assigned there, 1963-65. I remember he went to Vietnam with us in October 1965. When my term of service was up, in late May 1966, I remember him shaking my hand and wishing me well. He was a kind man, and well liked.
