  • Personal Life & Family

Karen Stringer was my aunt. Aunt Karen to me. We all come from a long line of Las Vegas natives. My aunt Karen was definitely a free spirit and hard to predict. She was a life long cocktail waitress and a poster girl for the Hacienda hotel in Las Vegas in the 60s. Our family has died off but I still have great memories of her from my days of a young child. She is missed.

Although it was discovered that the White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, the Neshoba County Sheriff's Office and the Philadelphia, Mississippi Police Department were involved, only 7 men were convicted and served less than six years.
