    Karyn Alice Peterson, 40, Ashwaubenon, passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 6, 2005, as a result of coronary complications. She was born in Green Bay on Feb. 21, 1965, the daughter of Leon Peterson, Ashwaubenon, and her mother, Kitty F. Peterson, Shawano. Karyn graduated from Ashwaubenon High School with the Class of 1983. Karyn enjoyed a free spirited life and lived in San Antonio, Texas, where her son, Tim, was born. She then relocated to San Bernardino, Calif., where Elizabeth was born. She moved back to Ashwaubenon in 1999 to be close to her family. She had a very humorous personality which made her a joy to spend time with. Karyn’s home was the favorite place for her children, nieces and nephews to spend time with her and each other. She had that special being about her that cannot be replaced. Survivors include two children, Timothy Scott Peterson, Elizabeth Ann Peterson, both at home; her parents, Leon and Kathy A. Peterson, Ashwaubenon, Kitty F. Peterson and her friend, Fran Strauss, Shawano; her sisters and brothers and their spouses, Pam and Terry Oettinger, Howard; Kathy Blizzard, West Allis, Peggy Smith, San Antonio, Texas; Sarah and Mike Tree, Green Bay; Tim S. Peterson, Ashwaubenon; Kristin Renteria, Allen, Texas; Bryan and Tina McGuire, Milwaukee; Allen and Shelby McGuire, Madison; her grandmother, Ellen Tonon; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Karyn was preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard G. and Ellen Marie Johanna Peterson; and her grandfather, Francis Tonon.
