    Katherine Mary MacDonald was born on December 1, 1919 in Waltham, Massachusetts, USA to parents Neil Hugh Macdonald (1887-1958) and Annie M MacPhail (1892-1966). She had a brother, Neil MacDonald (1913-). She grew up and lived in Weston, Middlesex, Massachusetts. On November 21, 1941 she married Rudolph Leonard Helgeson Jr (1917–1982) in Jackson, Missouri. The couple had mutliple children together including a son, David Neil Helgeson (1946-2018). Katherine later moved to Florida and passed away in Palm Bay, Brevard, Florida, United States on April 6, 1997.

Helgeson, Jr Mother of Judith White of Palm Beach, FL, Janet Yurkus of Marlborough, David, of Sudbury, Kenneth Helgeson of Falmouth, ME. Barbara Delisie of Westwood and Susan Helgeson of Westwood. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday April 12 at 11:00AM in the First Baptist Church of Weston 657, Boston Post Rd. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the above named church. The Boston Globe (Boston, Massachusetts) Thursday, April 10, 1997

I met Kathrine in 1971 when her and her older daughter came up too camp Grotonwood too pick up her younger daughter she. She was a very nice person
