Introduction

Kathy let love rule her life decisions leaving a middle class family and it's money for a handsome man, my father, John Edward Derkovich. She gave birth to 2 beautiful girls. Then she was left by my father to raise us the best she could. She did a decent job but had lots of help from the Nussbaums. Her saintly mother came back into her life also and eventually mended fences with her family. She worked at one co. For 12 yrs. Yet when she fell sick they too deserted her. She struggled with a blood cancer and kidney disease for a few years until she couldn't find joy in life. She did get to see her grandchildren before going somewhere more peaceful. Take a load off mom, you deserve it.

She liked to load is into the car and drive us thru the swamps to look for deer. One time we even took a trip to Pennsylvania to camp in Deer Park...Deer everywhere! Baby raccoons in the garbage chattering woke is up.
