Story i was told: Grandpa Keffer had a sister. I believe he was a truck driver at the time. His sister was married to a mean man who hit her. Keffer had told the man if he hits keffer sister again that keffer was gonna kill him. So the next time His sister was beaten by her husband. Keffer went over to their house. And beat the guy then shot him. Killed him. Called the police and sat down on the curb and waited for them. He did something like 10 years of a 20? Year sentence. He had a son Harold Franklin Kemp.
