Kenney was born to Loula Preston and his adoptive father Bobby Careathers on October 15th 1949. two years later on December 2nd 1951 he became a big brother to his sister Pamela Kay Careathers. later in life he became a pilot in the Army. He had a wife named Ann Careathers. Him and Ann welcomed two daughters to the world. Tama and Amy Careathers. Kenney played football and other sports during his life time. He was a loving son and brother. He was also a loving and great father. and loving uncle to his niece. Today Kenney would be 72 years of age if still alive. Kenney is dearly missed by his wife, Mother, Sister, nieces, and daughters. he is joined in death by his adoptive father Bobby Careathers.

Kenney graduated from South High School and went into the military.

Kenney served in the military, he went to the Vietnam War and much more. He is still being honored by his family.
