He married Susan Elizabeth Kershaw circa 1981 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, PA, and they were married until Kenneth's death on August 15, 2007 at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center 51 N. 39th St., in Philadelphia. They had children Christopher Andrew Kershaw and Kathleen Rose Kershaw.

    Kenneth S. Kershaw of Mount Holly,NJ,died Wednesday,August 15,2007 at Presbyterian Hospital in Philadelphia. He was 56. Ken was born in Philadelphia and was a 1969 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School in Levittown,PA. He was drafted by the Montreal Expos baseball team as a pitcher in the early 1970's. He attended Bucks County Community College and had been employed by Channel Home Centers,later by US Steel in Fairless Hills and at the time of his death was a lawn care technician with Grassmasters,Inc. in Lumberton,NJ. Ken was an avid fishermen and he loved the Jersey Shore,gardening and watching sports. Ken is survived by his wife of 26 years,Susan (nee Randolph);three children,Colleen Kershaw Macaluso and her husband Matt of Langhorne,PA,Christopher Kershaw and Katie Kershaw,both at home;a granddaughter,Caitlyn Kershaw of Langhorne;his parents,Samuel and Eileen Kershaw of Levittown,PA;his in-laws,Richard and Edith Randolph of Mount Holly;four sisters,Sharon Walker of Levittown,Valerie Klein and her husband Bill of Levittown,Gale Linko and her husband Tom of Greentown,PA;and Allison Hofmeister and her husband George of Jamison,PA;and a brother Gary Kershaw and his Michelle of Feasterville,PA. Also surviving is an aunt,Helen Tosti of Newtown,PA;and 10 nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial service Wednesday,August 22 at 12 noon at the First Presbyterian Church,125 Garden Street,Mount Holly,NJ. Interment will be private. Friends may call Wednesday from 11 A.M.-12 noon at the church. Contributions in Ken's memory may be made to the American Heart Association,600 South White Horse Pike,Audubon,NJ 08106. Arrangements by the Perinchief Chapels,438 High St.,Mount Holly,NJ.

In 1961, at the age of merely 10 years old, Kenneth was alive when on April 17th, about 1,000 CIA trained Cuban exiles invaded Cuba with the intention of igniting a rebellion and overthrowing Castro. They were defeated within three days. Although the operation began under Eisenhower, Kennedy approved it and the operation, named the Bay of Pigs for the beach where they landed, was a humiliation for the United States.
