Kent Clark Rutledge was born on December 23, 1941 in Elkader, Clayton County, Iowa United States to William Merlin Rutledge and Agnes Helene (Amsden) Rutledge, and had siblings Gary Lee Rutledge, Terry Alan Rutledge, Jacklyn Jean (Rutledge) Meyer, and Julie Ann (Rutledge) Moody. He married Dianna Faye (Dugger) Rutledge on October 21, 1967 in Brunswick, Glynn County, Georgia, and had children Carol Ann (Rutledge) Buebel, William Michael Rutledge, Katherine Elizabeth (Rutledge) Braddock, and Stephen Marshall Rutledge. Kent Rutledge died at age 83 years old on May 3, 2025 in Brunswick, Glynn County.
