He had siblings Rhoda Marie Chollet and Carolyn Nadine Nelson. He married Janie E Lloid, and had children Karen Lloid Bond, Karla Sue Lloid Autrey, Dee Wayne Lloid, Gregory Alvin Lloid, and Carl William Lloid. Kermit Lloid died at age 57 years old circa September 21, 1987, and was buried circa September 1987 at Oak Grove Cemetery Oak Grove Cemetery Rd, in Jonesville, Catahoula Parish County, LA.
