Kiata Harrell died at age 23 years old circa April 1998 at Her new house on Burgess St., in Detroit, and was buried circa June 13, 1998 Kiata's Memorial was held at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church 6125 Beechwood St. - Kiata and her daughter Lyric were cremated and their ashes are with Kiata's mother, Mary Harrell Griffin, in Detroit.
