Introduction

Kim was born to Albert Frost Bigelow,III and Sandra Mae Bigelow nee Young. She lived in Osceola Indiana until 1972 when the family moved to Claremont in Southern California. She attended Chaparral elementary school, LA Puerta middle school,, and Claremont High School. She received a cosmetology license from Citrus College, as well as taking art history and creative writing course are Mount San Antonia College. Kim married Mel Eugene Welliver in March of 1987. They had 2 daughters, Amele' Paige and Molly Elizabeth. In 1992 Kim and her husband and children moved to Utah. Kim worked for the Granite school system with special needs children as a paraeducator and aide, and was also a published writer.
