The oldest of three children. Father was Catarino Gloria and mother was Emilia Holguin-Gloria of Texas. His brother is Guillermo Gloria and baby sister Amanda Gloria all from Texas. Later they all moved to California. Emilia later remarried had a son. The half brother later died in his 50's.
