Kiyo (Uyeyama) Nobe was born on August 24, 1900 to Jitaro Uyeyama and Tomiyo Uyeyama, and had siblings Haji Uyeyama, Kahn Uyeyama, and Yo Nakayama. She was in a relationship with Syd Nobe and they later separated. She had children Ken Nobe, Sage Nobe, Carol (Nobe) Murakami, and Ben Nobe. Kiyo Nobe died at age 95 years old on November 6, 1995.
