Larry Gene Hendershot, 63, of Gonzales went to his Lord and Savior on Saturday March 22, 2008. He was born October 6, 1944 in Luling to John Matthew and Ava Lea Seitz Hendershot. He was a member of Harwood Baptist Church. Larry's love was ranching, working his land and cattle operation on his favorite horse Ol' Puddin' was living the good life. He also enjoyed fishing for catfish or bass in the tank, but his greatest love was cowboyin'. He is survived by his daughter Brenda Lea Schneider (Mike) of San Marcos and son Larry John Hendershot of Gonzales. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held Wednesday March 26, 2008 at 2 p.m. at the Harwood Baptist Church with Rev. Todd Craven officiating. Interment will follow in the Harwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Seydler-Hill Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening. Pallbearers will include Ross Hendershot, Sr., Haskell Hendershot, Billy Bob Low, John Tinsley, Kenny Grantham, and Donald Joe Bennett. Memorials may be made to the Harwood Baptist Church or the Harwood Cemetery Assn. Seydler-Hill Funeral Home, 906 St. Paul, Gonzales, Tx., 830-672-3232 is in charge of arrangements.
