Launa Christine (James) Layton was born on November 27, 1933 to Milburn Edward James and Anna Belle Thompson. She married Lester Eugene Layton, and died at age 33 years old on July 16, 1967. Launa Layton was buried at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery
