    Lauren Danielle Wadsworth was born to Michael Ray Wadsworth and Karen Lee Bauder. She had myasthenia gravis disease since she was a child - she was only 8 years old when she was diagnosed.     Lauren was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis when she was a child. Myasthenia gravis is an autoimmune disorder affecting the neuromuscular junction. When diagnosed in childhood, it is called juvenile myasthenia gravis. Symptoms include muscle weakness, especially in the eyes, face, limbs, and swallowing muscles. Fatigue and difficulty with repetitive movements are common. The outcome for children with myasthenia gravis varies, but with proper treatment, many can lead normal lives. Medications, such as acetylcholinesterase inhibitors and immunosuppressants, are commonly used. Regular monitoring by healthcare professionals is crucial. Most children with myasthenia gravis can manage their symptoms and enjoy a fulfilling life with appropriate medical care and support. Lauren died of the disease when she was only 25 years old.
