    Lawrence Panzone passed away peacefully on November 14th,2023 with his family by his bedside. Born in Philadelphia to James and Antoinette Panzone,Larry was 86 years old. He was a resident of Pennsauken for over 60 years. Larry is predeceased by his parents,James and Antoinette,his four sisters; Mary,Lena,Dorothy and Anna,and his brother Frank. Larry was a devoted husband to his wife of 60 years to Patricia (nee Bennett),who calls him the love of his life. He was the loving father of Larry Panzone and Susan (Marty) Rosica. Cherished Pop-Pop to David,Adam and Julie. Brother of Dominic (Charlene) Panzone. Brother-in-law of Leslie (Skeet) Dickinson,Linda (Mike) Stern, John (Ann) Childs,Clayt (Vicki) Childs,Cheryl Anne (Bob) Bostock and James (Lisa) Childs. Also survivng are numerous nieces and nephews. Larry proudly served his country in the US Army. He graduted with honors from Temple University earning a bachelors degree. He went to work in the field of inventory control management for Philco Ford,Telescience Corporation and L3 Technologies. After retiring,he became a full time substitute teacher in the Pennsauken school district. Larry was an avid Philadelphia sports fan,and especically enjoyed going to Philles games. For many years he spend time his day off playing golf or tennis or fishing. He also bowled at league for several years. Larry looked forward to his family vacations every other year at Orange Lake Resort where he would spend time in Disney World and Universal. Still riding the rides well into his 70's,he loved to travel with Pat and their family,and also could be found often in the summer in Ocean City just sitting and watching and listening to the waves. He had a passion for food and enjoyed cooking and eating out,but his greatest joy was spending time with his three grandchildren. Whether it was joking around,being on their on-demand taxi,cheering them on from the sidelines or simply sitting and talking,he was always there for them. A gathering of family and friend will be held Monday,November 20th,from from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Grace Episcopal Church 19 Kings Hwy. East in Haddonfield,NJ. Larry's Lithuargy for funeral service will begin at 11:00 A.M. Placing Larry's urn in the Church Memorial Garden will follow in lieu of flowers,memorial contributions may be made in his name to your favorite charity.
