Lawrence Gaetano Natoli was born to Angelo Natoli (1878 - 1962) and Rosina "Rose" Cafferela (1883 - 1962). Both parents were born in Sicily. He had siblings Rose and Joseph Natoli. A veteran of World War II, Lawrence Natoli enlisted in the United States Army on February 16, 1943 and was discharged on January 9, 1946. Lawrence G. Natoli married Maria "Mary" D'Antonio (1920 - 2014) in 1946 and they had two children, Lawrence G. Natoli, Jr. and Maria A. Natoli.
