NEWPORT NEWS - Lee B. Andleton, 85, a Halifax County, N.C., native and a Peninsula resident for 48 years, died Sunday, Sept. 26, 1993. Mr. Andleton was an employee of the Newport News Parks and Recreation Department and retired after 30 years of service. He was also a member of Morrison United Methodist Church. Survived by his wife, Ola W. Andleton; three daughters, Lela A. Ford and Grace A. Gunter, both of Newport News and Hilda A. Sheldon of York County; two sons, Aubrey L. Andleton of Hampton and Earl B. Andleton of Littleton, N.C.; three sisters, Estelle A. Searls and Musie A. Ballard, both of Hampton and India A. Powell of Annapolis, Md.; four brothers, Charlie Andleton of Hampton, Clayton Andleton of Newport News, Eugene Andleton of Portsmouth and Paul S.
