Introduction

Lena was christened Helena J.Penney. Her marriage is recorded in 1934 to Hugo Ludolff, but Hugo Ludolff was also using the name ' Bert Leahy' in order to enlist in World War 1.He was the son of a German immigrant, Jean Max Ludolff. Her death certificate did not list any children. Uncertain whether she had children prior to her marriage to Hugo (aka Bert Leahy). Her death certificate listed her parents as James Penney and Charlotte Ann (nee Morris). She was 56 years old when she passed away at her home in Petersham.
