    Leo J. Thuotte of Wilson Avenue, a quality control inspector for the Boston Air Procurement District, Defense Contract Administration, for 30 years before retiring 15 years ago, died Friday at St. Joseph Hospital, Providence, after a one-year illness. He was the husband of Bertha H. (Duquette) Thuotte. Born in Providence, a son of the late Isaie J. and Eleanor (Phinney) Thuotte, he lived in Oakland Beach most of his life. Mr. Thuotte was a World War II Army Air Forces veteran and served in the African and European Theaters. He was a communicant of St. Rita's Church, and had recently compiled its history. He was a member of the Post Card Collectors Club and the AARP. Besides his wife he leaves four daughters, Linda R. Litman of Anchorage, Alaska, Nancy E. Lovett, Anne M. and Jane H. Thuotte, all of Warwick; a son, Leo J. Thuotte of Warwick; two brothers, Donald E. Thuotte of Warwick, Francis J. Thuotte of Smithfield, and a granddaughter. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the Peter J. Barrett Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Rita's Church, Oakland Beach Avenue, at 10. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. Providence Journal (RI) - Sunday, August 31, 1986
