    Leon Allison Faught Jr. is the child of Anna Bell Dooley (1892-1963) and Leon Allison Faught Sr (1892-1963). He was born on August 31, 1922 in Justin, Texas and had two siblings Ruth (1921-1987) and Tim Don (1934-2010). He also had a half brother John Turner Faught (1917-1996). He married Edith Mae on March 17, 1945 and was father to four children. Leon enlisted into the army on July 27, 1945. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp and was retired from the Department of Defense. He served as a deacon, elder and volunteer youth director at John Knox Presbyterian Church for many years. On December 26, 2013 Leon Faught Jr. passed away in Bossier City, Bossier Parish, Louisiana, United States of America and is buried there at the Rose-Neath Cemetery.

    BOSSIER CITY, LA - A graveside service for Leon Faught will be 3:30 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2013 at Rose-Neath Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Dan Hignight of Trinity Presbyterian Church. Mr. Faught was born August 31, 1922 in Justin, TX to Leon Allison Faught and Anna Belle Dooley Faught and passed away December 26, 2013 in Bossier City, LA. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp and was retired from the Department of Defense. He served as a deacon, elder and volunteer youth director at John Knox Presbyterian Church for many years. He is preceded in death by a grandson, Curt Faught. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Edith Faught; son, Leon "Rusty" Faught, Jr.; daughters, LaWanna Faught, Sue Faught Oldham and husband Dr. Perry Oldham, Dana Faught Cherry; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren and a special cousin, Tom Faught and wife, Nancy. The family would like to thank Dr. Roy Fleniken, Louise Wiggins and the staff of the Northwest Louisiana War Veterans Home. The family suggests memorials to Benton United Methodist Church, Benton, LA in memory of Leon Faught.
