Leona B Lax was born in Austria on Feb 4, 1898 to parents Ida Baumwurzel (1867-1943) and Max Lax (1865-1946). She had 4 siblings, Morris (1888-1966), Anna (1891-1969), Benjamin (1896-?), and Hannah Blossom Lax (1901-1992). She arrived in New York City, New York, USA in the year 1900 and moved to Queens. She married Melvin Pine (1900-1977) on Sep 14, 1924 in Queens, New York and they had one child together. They later divorced on July 1, 1952 in Garland Arkansas. Leona then remarried in Jan 1962. Leona B Lax passed away on Christmas Day, Dec 25, 1988, in Los Angeles, CA.
