He had siblings Florence Adnum Jennings, Ada Elizabeth Jennings, Claudia Mina Berriman Jennings, Theodosia Clare Jennings, and William Hill Jennings. He married Marion Jane (Mason) Jennings in 1892, and had children Hazel Blanche Mason Jennings, Leonard Francis Jennings, Esther Irene Jennings, and Violet Josephine Jennings. Leonard Jennings died at age 56 years old on March 24, 1924 in Broken Hill, NSW.
