Leonard George Montgomery 1908 - 1982

Leonard George Montgomery of Queenscliff, Victoria Australia was born in 1908 in Ballarat to William Alexander Montgomery and Elizabeth Marie (Hyne) Montgomery. He had siblings Marjory Alexandra Mary (Montgomery) Cartwright, Keith Hyne Montgomery, Colin William Baird Montgomery, Margaret Helen (Montgomery) Polson, Bettine Joan Montgomery, and Ewen Malcolm Montgomery. He married Dorothy Nellie (Hassall) Montgomery, and had children Ian Baird Montgomery, Russell Montgomery, Keren Elizabeth (Montgomery) Lewis, and John Alexander Montgomery. Leonard Montgomery died at age 73 years old on March 16, 1982 in Geelong, and was buried at Geelong Eastern Cemetery 141 Ormond Rd, in East Geelong, Greater Geelong City County, VIC.
