He had siblings Ruth Alverda (Stokley) Gloeckler, Eugene Stokley Sr, William Ward Stokley, Kathyrn Alice (Stokley) Vanderbilt, and Mary Louise (Stokley) Boggs. Lester Stokley died at age 87 years old on January 6, 2007 in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, TX, and was buried at Moore Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens 1219 N Davis Dr, in Arlington.
