He had two sisters: Geneva, born 1915, and Virginia, born 1920. Virginia only lived three years. Lester C. Forrest married Evelyn Nell Parker (1919 - 1998) on May 7th, 1938 in Marietta, Georgia. They had two sons, one of whom was Lester Lee Forrest (1939 - 2012).
