Levi Leake was born on July 30, 1752 in Deerfield, Cumberland County, New Jersey United States to Samuel Leake and Hannah Preston, and had siblings Samuel Leake Jr., Mary Leake, Lewis Leake, Joel Leake, Ezra Leake, and Aaron Leake. He married Mabel Johnson Reeves, and had children Mary Leake, Hannah Leake, Samuel Leake, and Lewis Leake. Levi Leake died at age 68 years old on March 6, 1821.
