Lillian Dorothy (Hoffman) McArel of Upper Darby, Delaware County, Pennsylvania was born on April 9, 1906 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County. She was married to Edward Paisley McArel circa 1927 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, PA, and they were together until Edward's death on December 5, 1951 in Upper Darby, Delaware County. She had a child David Henry McArel.
