    i can not remember a whole about aunt lillian but she married uncle johnny . he worked in a bakery in ottawa ill. may mother ursula jacklovich was his little sister. i have a highschool picture fo john jr. and a wedding picture of dolly. our grandmother lived on lasalle st across the tracks from the train station

In 1913, in the year that Lillian J Jacklovich was born, Henry Ford installed the first moving assembly line for the mass production of an entire automobile. It had previously taken 12 hours to assemble a whole vehicle - now it took only two hours and 30 minutes! Inspired by the production lines at flour mills, breweries, canneries and industrial bakeries, along with the disassembly of animal carcasses in Chicago’s meat-packing plants, Ford created moving belts for parts and the assembly line was born.

In 1920, by the time she was merely 7 years old, Italian born factory worker Nicola Sacco and fish peddler Bartolomeo Vanzetti were picked up by police on May 5th in connection with the April 15th murder and robbery of a guard and a paymaster at the Slater and Morrill Shoe Company in South Braintree, Mass. Although in later years they were thought to be innocent, they were anarchists and were convicted of the crime and put to death.
