I lived with Mrs. Breth during parts of 1979 and 1980 while I was attending the University of Akron. She was a lovely woman. I was a boarder, but she treated me like family. She'd wash my clothes, bring me desserts at night, and make dinner for me. In the morning, there was freshly-brewed coffee and we'd look out her back windows toward her garden and the Metro Parks beyond. I have fond memories of watching "Lou Grant" with her and drinking Vernor's. I kept in contact with her for several years after I graduated. She was a lovely woman.
