A special woman
Linda (Velinda Burrows) was my Great Grandmother. I had the privilege to know her as a child until I was 18. She was so very talented and such a sweet woman in her later years.
Her talents in baking, canning, yarn arts were so great she had her own store in her basement. I remember going into the basement (well lit and clean) to see her handiwork. My grandmother (Beryl) used to take me there to visit as a child for many years.
She lived in Grand Haven and that was such a special house (still exists) to visit with the enclosed front porch, the giant tree in the fenced in back yard and the black squirrels running around. She always had a great meal to share.
I loved her hee hee laugh and her gentle ways with me. I'll never forget those visits.
