This second enlistment marked the beginning of an extraordinary commitment that would span over three decades. Llewellyn continued to serve with distinction and loyalty until his final discharge on December 20, 1980, after an extensive and admirable career in the military. He was married a few times in his life. He married Elizabeth Ann Kealil'aukai AKA Kealilaukai Robins Sackwitz (1935-2004) and they had three children. He also married Tsulan Grace Mellisa Smith Farden (1923-2008), and Irma Irene Leilani Rosehill (1918-1992).
