The next year, he married Gertrude Viola Kashka (1919-1998) on January 27, 1942 in Albuquerque, Bernalillo Co., NM. The couple lived in Miami, Dade Co., FL, USA had children together including a son who did not survive Michael Lloyd Schoonover (1948-1948). The couple later divorced around 1965. Lloyd then married again in September of 1965 in Dade County Florida.
