Remembering Lois. It was 1982-1983. I was a young A1C in the USAF and had the good fortune to be assigned to the 380th Bombardment Wing Headquarters. I was assigned as an Administrative Clerk. Mrs. Goodspeed was the Secretary for Colonel George Larson and later Colonel Raymund O'Mara. Mrs Goodspeed took me under her wing and coached me up. She provided me with encouragement and gave me tips for success. It was often joked that Lois was the person who really commanded the 380th BMW. Lois had a great sense of humor and a laugh that tickled your soul. Mrs. Goodspeed may be gone but she is not forgotten. She was a beautiful woman inside and out. It was a pleasure to work with her and call her a friend. Signed, Airmen Ross.
