My grandmother was a loving and family orientated women. I remember when I was about 6 years old she would take my coloring books to color in and it would upset me but I still loved her. She would make arroz con leche for my sisters and I , it was our favorite dish. My sisters and I would bathe her and comb her hair, she would give us money to buy candy and toys before she lived with us when she was in a nursing home. Lolita was a kind and fearless woman. She was a strong single mother of 9 children , I wish I would’ve gotten the chance to say goodbye to her when she was alive. She requested to be cremated which she was after the celebration of her life . Her ashes are currently with my mother and my sisters.
