Loretta Mack died at age 66 years old on October 27, 2006 in Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge County.

    A retired receptionist at Renaissance Funeral Services, Gonzales, and a retired nurse from Villa Feliciana Geriatric Hospital, she died at 8:15 a.m. Friday, Oct. 27, 2006, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Bluebonnet. She was 66, a resident of Springfield and a native of French Settlement. Graveside service at Courtney Cemetery, LA. 1036, Holden, at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, conducted by the Rev. Starret Cleveland. Survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Laurie Lane and Joseph "Joby" Benton Wall; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Labon Alton Mack Jr., David Charles and Brenda Welch Mack, and William Patrick "Pat" and Susan Dunlap Mack; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Pearl and Lawrence Navarre, Lenny and Benny Roundtree and Helen Thornton; brothers-in-law, Carter Lee Nettles and Evans Marchand; nine grandchildren, Joseph, Casey, Bradley, and OraLane Wall, and Jessica, Kenneth, Simone, Corrine and Patrick Mack; a great-grandchild, OraLana Nekole Wall; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Labon Alton Mack Sr.; parents, Adam David Linton Jr. and Clemose Ester Aime LeBourgeois; sister, Opal Nettles; and sister-in-law, Aline Marchand. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and an avid LSU sports fan. Arrangements by Renaissance Services Inc. Published in The Advocate on 10/30/2006.
