Lorraine Margaret (Holzerland) Smith was born on July 28, 1917 in Buffalo, New York United States to Arthur Emil Holzerland and Gladys Lorraine Holzerland, and had siblings Arthur Milton Holzerland, Bernice Alma Miller, Richard P. Holzerland, Jean Carol Smith, Shirley Ellen Holzerland, and Irwin John Holzerland. She married Harvey Chester Smith in 1940, and they were married until Harvey's death on January 9, 1965. She had children Paul Arthur Smith and Harvey C. Smith. Lorraine Smith died at age 55 years old on March 24, 1973 in Elma.
