Lorrayne K Czebotar of Maryland United States was born in February 1924 in AR to Ella Barbara (Margaret) Pfaffenberger and Russell William Schaeffer. She married Joseph Czebotar and they later divorced in 1962. She had children Joseph Czebotar, James Czebotar, Sonja Czebotar, Martin Czebotar, and John Czebotar. Lorrayne Czebotar died at age 59 years old in November 1983 in MD.

Introduction

Lorrayne Czebotar had 5 children with her first husband Joseph A. Czebotar. She raised her children in Maryland. Shortly before her death she married Raymond McCormick. She was known for being extraordinarily resourceful. As a single mother of 5 children with very limited resources, Lorrayne found a house to purchase and went to the bank to apply for a loan. As the story goes, when the banker told her she just wouldn't qualify for a loan she said "well, what do I tell my tenant?" She had already lined up someone to rent a portion of the home to help cover the house payment. The banker was so impressed with her that she got the loan.
