Louis was a pharmacist. He worked in the family business, Sweet's Drug Store, which was established by his grandfather. He went on to create Redwood Pharmacy in Lindsay, California, and Home Medical Business, which served three counties in California.

Louis Eugene Sweet was born to Louis H. Sweet (1906 - 1977) and Ruth Agnes Stevinson (1906 - 1986). His father wasborn in Texas and his mother was born in Merced, California. Louis E. Sweet married Adelaide M Mulock on June 18, 1960. They divorced in August of 1977. he married again, to Lori, to whom he was married when he died. Louis had a son, Louis Jr., a daughter, Stacy and was also survived by four grandchildren: Cain, Chad, Mackenzie and Regan.

LOUIS E. SWEET September 11, 1937 - October 17. 2007 Louis passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, October 17, 2007. He was born September 11, 1937 in Tulare to Louis H. and Ruth Sweet. He followed in the footsteps of his grandfather, Eugene Sweet, and his father to become a pharmacist. After graduating from USC Pharmacy School, he worked with his father in the family business, Sweet's Drug Store in Tulare, established in 1938 by his grandfather, Eugene. Louis went on to establish Redwood Pharmacy in Lindsay and a very successful Home Medical business serving three counties. Louis enjoyed his many friends in Tulare and throughout the state. He was a member of the Rancheros Vistadores of Santa Barbara and The Charlie Russell Riders of Montana. He was a Rotarian for many years, we involved with Elks Club and served on the COS Board of Trustees. Louis will surely be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and his love of people. Louis is survived by his son, Louis J. Sweet, and his wife, Lori; his daughter, Stacy Castro, and her husband, Randy; and his four wonderful grandchildren, Cain, Chad, Mackenzie and Regan. The family wishes to thank the many people who were such a special part of his life.
